My family gave me the task of finding a suitable buyer for the house we grew up in. A 1950s house in Dublin South-West. There were two Paul Tobin signs on the road and I thought 'I'll start by giving this Paul Tobin a call'. We met at the house soon after and I never looked back. He was honest, professional and personal with me, and in his approach to selling the house I grew up in. His knowledge of the market, his understanding of the needs of his clients, buyers and sellers, and his extensive experience made me confident that this would go well. And it did. The house needed a re-wire and a fix-up, as old houses often do. And Paul's passion for, and impressive knowledge of, interior design came forward. He made the recommendations and I followed them, where budget allowed. And he had a network of skilled people that he could call on to work with the house and make it ready for sale. I live abroad, so Paul kept me informed as the work was carried out, with pictures, calls and video walk-throughs. Once on the market, things went very fast, as Paul said they would. The house was presented, in a printed brochure and online, in a very honest and transparent manner. Paul managed the viewing and bidding processes in his excellent way and kept me updated as the sale progressed. We were a client of Paul Tobin Estate Agents from March 2021 until May 2023. Throughout our time in Botanic Hall, Paul was consistently looking for ways to improve our living environment, replacing beds and couches to accommodate our needs. He was always quick to respond to any questions or requests that we had, and communication was always very good. We never felt like we had to hesitate in contacting should an issue arise. When we decided to leave Botanic Hall due to moving to Australia, Paul was very accommodating, arranging early inspections and handing over of keys at a time that worked for us. We've recently closed on selling our property in Dublin and I cannot speak highly enough of Paul and his wider team. I was very much of the opinion coming in that the housing market was buoyant and we could sell by literally emptying our place and showing it as it stood at the time. I'm glad to say I listened and took Paul's professional advise. He organised painters, cleaners and general maintenance crew to come in and make it feel like a new house in the space of a week. Phenomenal. So much so that it literally only took 3 business days from when the house went on the market to getting sale agreed. Paul stayed in close contact with me through the process and I have absolutely no hesitation recommending him as a thorough professional in his space.
